Actor Jo Jung Suk expressed his deep affection for his wife, Gummy.
On May 29, a video titled "Gummy Would Never Do This... Jo Jung Suk Gets Fired Up While Giving Subscribers Relationship Advice" was uploaded to actor and comedian Jung Sang Hoon's YouTube channel, 'Jungsanghoon Bijeongsanghoon.'
In the video, Jo Jung Suk joined Jung Sang Hoon and his acquaintances for a series of relationship-themed "balance game" questions. When asked to choose between emotional cheating and physical cheating, Jo Jung Suk replied, "Physical cheating is better."
He explained, "The reason physical cheating is somewhat better is because emotional cheating doesn't just hurt me. It can destroy an entire family. Physical cheating can also break a family apart, but if I choose to forgive and rebuild, there's still a possibility. Emotional cheating, on the other hand, doesn't come back."
Jo Jung Suk continued firmly, "My wife (Gummy) and I share a very strong emotional bond. Because of that, emotional attachment to somebody else is something I absolutely can't accept."

When asked, "Would you be okay with your wife drinking alone with your male friend while you're asleep?" Jung Sang Hoon answered, "It would depend on which friend."
Jo Jung Suk agreed, saying, "That's the important part."
He then shared a real-life example: "While one of my Japanese friends was away on a business trip, Gummy happened to be in Japan for an event. The two of them met up in Japan and had a drink together. I had absolutely no problem with that."
The conversation also touched on how couples resolve arguments.
Faced with the choice between a partner who blocks contact after a fight and a partner who keeps calling until the issue is resolved, Jo Jung Suk chose the latter as the more difficult.

He explained, "I've changed. In the past, I think I would've hated the partner who blocks contact more, but now I dislike the one who keeps calling until the very end."
Reflecting on his relationship with Gummy, he added: "When I was dating Jiyeon (Gummy's real name), I think I always wanted to resolve everything right in that moment. Through that, I did a lot of self-reflection. Jiyeon was much more mature and approached relationships in a much wiser way. I've changed now."
Jo Jung Suk and Gummy married in 2018 and are known as one of Korea's most beloved celebrity couples. The pair also recently revealed that they never held a traditional wedding ceremony and instead exchanged vows through a private commitment ceremony.
