Kim Go Eun bids farewell to “Yumi’s Cells” after 5 years

Actress Kim Go Eun shared her thoughts following the conclusion of “Yumi’s Cells” season 3.

Kim posted on her social media, “Thank you so much for loving “Yumi’s Cells” season 3. I was truly happy to live as Kim Yumi for five years.” she added, “Please continue to support Yumi’s life moving forward,” along with several behind-the-scenes photos.

First released in 2021, “Yumi’s Cells” is based on a webtoon of the same name and follows the everyday life of an ordinary woman, Yumi, as she eats, loves, and grows alongside her inner “cells.” season 3, which marks the grand finale, tells the story of Yumi as a third-year star writer who falls in love once again.

Kim Go Eun, who has led the series throughout, once again delivered a passionate performance as Yumi. Actor Kim Jae Won appeared as her final boyfriend, following characters previously portrayed by Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Jin Young.
