Kim Jong Kook announces Seoul encore concerts for 30th anniversary tour

Kim Jong Kook is set to reunite with fans through special encore concerts in Seoul following overwhelming support for his 30th anniversary performances.

Kim Jong Kook will hold 'Kim Jong Kook 30th Anniversary Concert - Seoul Encore' on August 15 and 16 KST at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul. The encore concerts were organized in response to passionate fan requests after his original 30th anniversary concert held at the same venue in October last year.

The previous performances featured a setlist spanning Kim Jong Kook’s entire 30-year music career, from his hit songs as a member of Turbo to his beloved solo tracks. His heartfelt live performances and sincere conversations with fans left audiences deeply moved, leading to continuous requests for additional shows. The momentum later expanded into regional concerts in Daegu and Daejeon, allowing him to connect with fans across the country.

Recently, Kim Jong Kook also drew attention after appearing on Eardrum Boyfriend hosted by Sung Si Kyung, where he showcased his live vocals once again. Following the broadcast, fans expressed strong interest in hearing him perform live in concert, helping pave the way for the upcoming Seoul encore performances.

The singer is also reportedly preparing a new music release, further heightening anticipation among fans. The encore concerts are expected to revisit the emotional moments of his original anniversary shows while presenting richer musical arrangements and deeper storytelling.

Tickets for the Seoul encore concerts will open on June 2 at 7 PM KST through NOL Ticket.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook married a non-celebrity woman in September last year in a private ceremony attended only by family members and close acquaintances.
