Kim Moo Yeol and Lee Sung Min lead Netflix’s 'Teach You a Lesson' as poster and trailer reveal chaos in schools

Actors Kim Moo Yeol and Lee Sung Min are set to restore order in a collapsing education system in Netflix’s upcoming series 'Teach You a Lesson.'

On May 20, Netflix unveiled the main poster and trailer for the new series 'Teach You a Lesson' written by Lee Nam Kyu, Kim Da Hee, and Moon Jong Ho and directed by Hong Jong Chan.

The newly released poster features the four members of the Education Protection Bureau. Na Hwa Jin played by Kim Moo yeol joins Choi Kang Seok played by Lee Sung Min, Im Han rim played by Jin Ki Joo, and Bong Geun Dae played by Pyo Ji Hoon as they arrive at a school scene together.

Despite the chaotic environment with broken windows and desks scattered throughout the classroom, the team appears composed and unfazed, even showing relaxed smiles. The image highlights their calm confidence and strong teamwork and raises anticipation for their coordinated efforts.

The trailer intensifies this contrast between order and chaos, depicting a rapid moving clash between an uncontrollable school environment and the intervention of the Education Protection Bureau. Led by Choi Kang Seok, the diverse inspectors demonstrate distinct personalities and approaches as they confront escalating situations.

A firm line delivered in the trailer states Do not interfere with compulsory education We will not stand by and do nothing signaling the bureau’s uncompromising stance as they step in to correct extreme behaviors within the education system.

'Teach You a Lesson' is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. The story follows the Education Protection Bureau as it appears in Korean schools and enforces accountability against students and parents who cross the line, delivering what the series frames as corrective justice.

The series is scheduled for release on June 5 via Netflix.
