NCT member and solo artist Taeyong has officially sold over 1 million albums cumulatively on the Hanteo Chart, setting a major career milestone.
According to a recent update, Taeyong has now surpassed 1 million copies sold across his entire solo discography. This achievement follows the release of his latest project, 'WYLD,' in May.
The artist's previous solo mini-albums, 'SHALALA' (over 430,000 copies sold) and 'TAP' (over 230,000 copies sold), alongside his newest release, contributed to this milestone. 'WYLD' alone sold nearly 350,000 copies in its first week, pushing Taeyong past the 1 million mark since his solo debut in 2023.
Meanwhile, 'WYLD' marks Taeyong's first full-length album. It features 10 tracks: "WYLD," "Storm," "Hypnotic," "I'm a Dancing Cactus," "Mermaid," "404 Euphoria," "Skiii," "Hot," "Feeling Myself," and "Run." The album captures his raw instinct, artistic conviction, and unmistakable “Neo” identity, with Taeyong notably involved in the creation of all tracks.
The hard-hitting hip-hop title track, “WYLD,” features heavy bass, powerful percussion, and layered experimental sounds. Inspired by the movement of wild animals, the song conveys a raw, instinctive energy, complemented by Taeyong’s explosive chorus. The lyrics reflect his determination to keep moving forward and chase his goals without holding back.
