On May 27, during its second week of release, ‘Wonder Fools’ recorded 7.9 million views — calculated by dividing total watch hours by the show’s runtime. The series ranked No. 2 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 list for non-English TV shows.
The drama also entered the Top 10 rankings in a total of 64 countries. Newly released still cuts were unveiled as well, showcasing the entire journey of the four Hae Sung City residents — from the moment they gained superpowers to their mission to save the city.

‘The Wonderfools’ is a supernatural comic adventure series. Set at the turn of the millennium in 1999, it follows a group of awkward neighborhood outcasts who accidentally gain superpowers and struggle to protect the world from villains threatening the peace.
The newly released stills captured the bittersweet chemistry between “Eun Chae Ni” (played by Park Eun Bin), who stages a fake incident in pursuit of freedom, and Son Kyung Hoon (played by Choi Dae Hoon) and Kang Robin (played by Lim Sung Jae), who become caught up in the situation.

Meanwhile, Lee Woon Jung (played by Cha Eun Woo), covered in blood and targeted by enemies, revealed his hidden backstory as someone once raised as a “Wunderkind,” while also showcasing the powerful threat surrounding him.
The series also resonated emotionally with viewers through the growth of the three inexperienced heroes as they gradually learn to control their powers, alongside Woon Jung’s journey toward overcoming his trauma.
