RIIZE made a meaningful donation to support children in domestic care facilities ahead of Children’s Day, contributing 30 million KRW (about 20,354 USD) in the name of their fanbase, BRIIZE.
International development NGO GFoundation announced the donation on May 1, stating that RIIZE participated in its 'May Giant' campaign. The initiative aims to help children in orphanages celebrate Children’s Day by providing personalized gifts selected directly by the children themselves.
As part of the campaign, a total of 540 children in care facilities will receive customized gift boxes. GFoundation noted that allowing children to choose their own gifts is meaningful, as it gives them a sense of respect and autonomy. The organization also expressed gratitude to RIIZE for their contribution.
Meanwhile, RIIZE is preparing for their comeback with their second mini album scheduled for release on June 15, marking their return approximately seven months after their previous album, “Fame.”
