Eunhyuk and Lee Boram from Seeya finally addressed their long-standing dating rumors.
On May 11, a new video titled “’Did you date Super Junior!?’ Eunhyuk & Boram finally explain dating rumors once suspected even by SeeYa’s Nam Gyu ri” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Donghaemulgwa Baekdueunhyuk.”
During the episode, Lee Donghae jokingly brought up the rumors, saying, “Let’s clear this up first. A lot of people are curious about Boram and Eunhyuk.”
Eunhyuk responded in disbelief, “Not people who are curious — are there actually people who believe it?” while Lee Boram added, “I’m so tired of this.”

The two became the subject of dating rumors back in 2007 after Eunhyuk was seen lightly tapping Lee Boram’s head while passing by her onstage during a concert.
Explaining the situation, Lee Boram said, “We didn’t do anything. It was because of him. We were all onstage together for Dream Concert or something, and while passing by, he just tapped my head.”
After footage of the moment was shown again, Donghae commented, “That doesn’t look like something people in a relationship would do. It feels more like, ‘Hey, I’m leaving.’”
Eunhyuk agreed, saying, “Actually, if we were dating, we couldn’t do that.”
Lee Boram recalled that her company questioned her the next day about the rumors.
“They asked, ‘What kind of relationship do you have?’ and I said, ‘Nothing at all. We’re just friends.’ But articles still came out,” she explained.
Eunhyuk also shared memories of their close friendship group at the time, saying they formed an “’86 club” with other celebrities and spent time hanging out together at playgrounds because none of them drank alcohol.
“We played water gun games instead,” he said with a laugh. “If we were really dating, there would’ve been photos of us together somewhere, but there was nothing like that.”
The episode also revealed that Lee Boram once lent Eunhyuk money for a variety show mission, prompting both stars to reminisce about their financially difficult rookie years.
