
Leo, also known as Jung Taek Woon of VIXX, has signed an exclusive contract with Sublime and is preparing for a new chapter in his career.
On May 14 KST, Sublime announced the news, stating, “Jung Taek Woon is an artist who has built his own unique color through music, stage performances, and acting. We will fully support him so his talents can shine even brighter.”
Leo debuted with VIXX in 2012 and helped establish the group’s signature powerful concepts and performances through songs including "On and On", "hyde", "Voodoo Doll", "Shangri La", and "Chained Up".
As a solo artist, he has also showcased his own musical identity through albums and songs including 'CANVAS', 'MUSE', “I’m Still Here,” and 'Piano man Op. 9', many of which featured his participation in songwriting and composition.
Beyond music, Leo has steadily built a strong career in musical theater. Since debuting in the musical ‘Full House’ in 2014, he has appeared in productions including 'Mata Hari', 'Monte Cristo', 'Elisabeth', 'Frankenstein', 'West Side Story', 'Memphis', and the play 'Teveland'.
He is set to return to the stage once again in the musical 'Yumi’s Cells', opening June 30, where he will play the role of “109 Cell.”
