Wanna One shoots first-ever group photoshoot after 9 years

Wanna One has completed their first-ever group photoshoot with fashion magazine ELLE, marking another milestone in their long-awaited reunion activities.

On May 16, ELLE Korea’s official social media account posted a short video along with the caption expressing surprise and excitement over Wanna One’s appearance at the shoot. The clip shows the members dressed in monochrome suits, taking selfies and working through the photoshoot with energetic chemistry.

Formed through Mnet’s 2017 survival show ‘Produce 101 Season 2’, Wanna One originally consisted of Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Lee Dae Hwi, Kim Jae Hwan, Ong Seong Wu, Park Woo Jin, Ha Sung Woon, Yoon Ji Sung, Hwang Min Hyun, Bae Jin Young, and Lai Kuan Lin. The group became a nationwide sensation before officially concluding activities in January 2019.

Recently, the group reunited for the Mnet reality program ‘Wanna One Go: Back to Base’, though Kang Daniel is currently serving in the military and Lai Kuan Lin has retired from the entertainment industry, leaving nine members to participate.

The reunion project has also included new music, with the release of the OST track ‘We Wanna Go’ for the show earlier this month.

Following the ELLE photoshoot reveal, Yoon Ji Sung left a heartfelt comment expressing his excitement, further fueling fans’ anticipation for the group’s ongoing reunion content.
