4Minute celebrates 17th debut anniversary with a heartwarming full-group reunion

BY Alec06 · June 18, 2026

The iconic girl group 4Minute has touched the hearts of fans by gathering as a full five-member group to celebrate their 17th debut anniversary.

On June 18, the group's youngest member, Kwon So Hyun, took to her personal social media channel to post several photos along with the caption, "4Minute's 17th anniversary... ♥ 4Nia, how have you all been..? Today is a day where I truly feel how fast time flies."

The released photographs show all five members—Nam Ji Hyun, Heo Ga Yoon, Jeon Ji Yoon, HyunA, and Kwon So Hyun—gathered together, smiling brightly while holding an anniversary cake.

Kwon So Hyun shared her sincere feelings, writing, "Even an ordinary day can become an anniversary if you remember it. 17 years have passed as a team, and 21 years have passed for me individually. Even so, today is a day of gratitude because we are able to commemorate this time together."

Showing her thoughtful nature, she also showcased nostalgic stickers, number-shaped candles, and special desserts she prepared, adding, "A small token of my heart sent to the older members for our 17th anniversary," creating a warm and touching atmosphere.

4Minute officially debuted on June 18, 2009, instantly skyrocketing to fame with their debut single "Hot Issue." They went on to release a string of massive hits, including "Muzik," "Mirror Mirror," "What's Your Name?", "Whatcha Doin' Today?", "Crazy," and "Hate."

After seven years of successful promotions, 4Minute disbanded in 2016 following the expiration of their contracts. Since then, the members have actively pursued individual paths as actresses and solo artists.

Even prior to this reunion, the members have consistently shown their enduring bond. Last year, HyunA celebrated their 16th anniversary by posting a picture of a bouquet on her personal channel with the caption, "We were so beautiful, truly precious ♥," notably tagging Nam Ji Hyun and sharing a throwback group photo from their active days.

Meanwhile, Kwon So Hyun is gearing up to greet viewers on the small screen in the upcoming drama ‘Empathy Cells’, which is scheduled for release on July 4.
