Baek Ji Young and Rain show off their tight-knit bond as parents of same-class daughters

Singer Baek Ji Young and Rain recently crossed paths, transitioning from industry colleagues to fellow school parents.

On June 9, Baek Ji Young took to her personal Instagram account to post several photos along with the caption, "From colleagues to parents, hahaha. The star of the day is you, Rain, you, you, you!"

In the released photos, Baek Ji Young is seen meeting up with Rain and taking commemorative group pictures alongside other school parents. Notably, Baek Ji Young caught the eyes of fans by making a comically shocked facial expression, looking as though she completely unexpected running into Rain that day.

Previously, Baek Ji Young had mentioned on various variety shows and YouTube content that her daughter shares the same school classroom with the daughters of Rain and Kim Tae Hee, as well as the daughter of top model Jang Yoon Ju. She even shared a hilarious anecdote from a past school sports day, where Rain, her own husband Jung Suk Won, and Jang Yoon Ju's husband all teamed up for a fierce game of tug-of-war.

Meanwhile, born in 1976, Baek Ji Young made her musical debut in 1999 and is celebrating her 26th anniversary in the industry this year. She tied the knot with actor Jung Suk Won, who is nine years her junior, in 2013, and the couple has a daughter born in 2017.
