Baek Jong Won returns to YouTube with cooking content after hiatus

Baek Jong Won is making his return to YouTube.

On June 5, TheBorn Korea announced, “Baek Jong Won will resume activities through his YouTube channel ‘Baek Jong Won.’ The channel will mainly focus on cooking-related content.”

Baek Jong Won had faced a series of controversies last year, including criticism over the quality of “Bbaek Ham,” allegations of false country-of-origin labeling, and food safety issues. As the controversies continued, he announced a suspension of activities.

However, most of the allegations were later dismissed or closed without indictment during the police investigation stage. With Baek Jong Won avoiding legal liability, speculation about his return had continued.

His first new upload is part of the “Cooking Secret” series. Baek Jong Won released a video titled “An Ultra-Simple Soy Sauce Cold Noodles Recipe Easier Than Ramen Is Here,” along with the full recipe.

His “My Money, My Meal” series will also return for Season 2. The show features Baek Jong Won visiting restaurants under his own brands, but instead of focusing on store inspections, the new season plans to emphasize cooperation and mutual growth with franchise owners.
