Buzz is set to continue activities in a restructured form as its members’ contracts with the agency have expired, making full-group promotions temporarily difficult.

Earlier, member Kim Ye Jun drew attention after posting a Korean flag image along with the word "by-election" on social media. He later commented that the post reflected his personal views and was unrelated to Buzz, adding that he is no longer a member of the band, sparking confusion among fans.

In response, Buzz’s agency, Long Play Music, issued an official statement clarifying the group’s current status.

The agency apologized for the confusion caused by information being shared through unofficial channels before its formal announcement.

"It is regrettable that Buzz members’ exclusive contracts have now expired, and we are currently focusing on supporting Min Kyung Hoon’s solo activities," the agency said. "For the time being, full-group activities with all original members will not be possible."

However, the agency emphasized that the group name Buzz and its existing music catalog will continue to be preserved. It also noted that various options are being reviewed to maintain the group’s identity moving forward.

"Future activity plans are still under internal discussion, and we will provide updates through official channels once finalized," it added.

Below is the full statement from Long Play Music

Hello, this is Long Play Music.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the fans who always cherish and support our artist Buzz.

We sincerely apologize for causing great confusion and concern to our fans due to related news being shared through other channels prior to our official announcement.

Regrettably, as the exclusive contracts with the members of Buzz have ended, we are currently focusing on supporting Min Kyung Hoon's solo activities. For the time being, full-group activities with all the original members together will not be possible, but we ask for your warm support for the members walking a new path.

However, the team name Buzz and the musical assets released so far will be maintained without change, and we are exploring the best ways from various angles to continue the team's identity. As we know better than anyone the precious feelings sent by the fans, we are also carefully reviewing the matter.

Since internal discussions are currently underway regarding specific future activity plans, we will swiftly notify you through official channels once again as soon as they are finalized.

We thank you for your continued support and interest, and we will do our best to greet you with good news in the future.

Thank you.
