BY K-Soul · June 8, 2026

Cha Ga Won's side continues to speak out regarding the lease dispute with Lee Seung Gi.

On June 8, attorney Hyun Dong Yeob posted a video titled "The Secret Behind MBC and Lee Seung Gi's Hannam Dong Jeonse Fraud Allegations" on his YouTube channel. Currently, attorney Hyun Dong Yeob is the legal representative of One Hundred Label.

The video serves as a preview for a future release, with attorney Hyun Dong Yeob claiming, “From what I see, this is not jeonse fraud. I think this is fraud committed to terminate an exclusive contract.”

The attorney then revealed screenshots of messages allegedly sent by Lee Seung Gi. In the conversation, the individual appeared pleased, saying, “Thank you, Chairman, for letting me move into La Nouveau. Now that we’re all living together, I feel a sense of stability.”

Attorney Hyun also released messages in which the individual mentioned appraisal values and property assessments, stating, “I think they are disparaging the region just to criticize Chairman Cha Ga Won.”

Regarding the matter, the attorney said, “They are claiming that Lee Seung Gi, Cha Ga Won, and the Wando Suhyup were co-perpetrators in a jeonse fraud scheme, but I can’t understand what part of this is supposedly fraud. Are they confessing to something?

Lastly, attorney Hyun Dong Yeob stated that Chairman Cha Ga Won’s cellphone had undergone forensic analysis, adding, “There are many things that could truly shake up the entertainment industry. Starting with Lee Seung Gi, we will reveal everything one by one.

Previously, Lee Seung Gi reportedly told MBC’s 'PD Note' that he moved into the luxury villa worth 10.5 billion KRW (approx. 6.8 million KRW) at the recommendation of Chairman Cha Ga Won, alleging that he was asked to pay a jeonse deposit three times higher than the market rate under the pretext of a property appraisal.
