CORTIS has reached a major milestone on Spotify, surpassing 800 million cumulative streams and setting a new record among K-pop boy groups.
According to the group, the combined streams of all 13 tracks from its first and second mini albums, along with "Mention Me" from Sony Pictures Animation's 'GOAT,' reached 801.43 million streams on Spotify as of June 15. The achievement comes just 19 days after CORTIS surpassed 700 million streams on May 27.
With the milestone, CORTIS has become the fastest K-pop boy group in history to exceed 800 million Spotify streams, accomplishing the feat less than a year after debut.
The group's rapid growth has been fueled by strong global support, particularly in the United States, which accounted for the largest share of Spotify listeners over the past four weeks. Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, and Japan followed closely behind.
Meanwhile, "REDRED," the title track from the group's second mini album, has accumulated nearly 100 million streams and is on the verge of becoming the group's first song to surpass the milestone.
CORTIS has also continued to post impressive results on Billboard's charts. On the latest chart dated June 20, "REDRED" ranked No. 52 on the Global 200 and No. 29 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, marking its seventh consecutive week on both rankings. The group's strong performance also helped it secure No. 32 on the Artist 100 chart.
The group's second mini album, 'GREENGREEN,' has also demonstrated impressive longevity, spending five consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 at No. 50. The achievement marks the longest Billboard 200 run for a single album by a rookie boy group that debuted within the last five years.
Meanwhile, CORTIS will launch its first solo tour with concerts at Inspire Arena in Incheon on July 18 and 19 before heading to nine regions across North America and Japan. The group is also scheduled to perform at Indonesia's Allo Bank Festival on June 20 and at Lollapalooza Chicago from July 31 to August 1, where it will appear as the only K-pop boy group on this year's lineup.
