(G)I-DLE dropped the first set of concept photos for their upcoming 9th mini album 'We made' and its title track "Gimme Dat Love," setting the stage for a summer comeback on July 6, 2026 at 6 PM KST.
The individual concept photos, released on June 29 at midnight KST, show members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua in sporty, sleeveless fits and relaxed bottoms. Wet-look makeup and thermal effects against a bathroom backdrop bring out the heat of summer, while group shots capture the five lounging on a sofa bathed in golden sunset light.
"Gimme Dat Love" is a summer love song built around a whistle melody, created with Latin pop producers Daramola and Samantha Cámara. The album title 'We made' nods to their debut mini-album 'I made,' continuing (G)I-DLE's signature self-referential storytelling.
Ahead of the comeback, the group's pre-release track "Crow" topped QQ Music's daily digital album bestseller chart and entered iTunes charts in 11 countries. (G)I-DLE also just wrapped their '2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation] IN HONG KONG' concerts on June 27 and 28 at Kai Tak Stadium.
