Girl's Day member and actress Hyeri experienced an unexpected on-stage wardrobe mishap.
On June 13, Hyeri kicked off her '2026 HYERI ASIA TOUR FANMEETING' in Seoul at Ewha Womans University. It was reported that Hyeri personally participated in the planning process of the event to incorporate elements that fans had long hoped to see.
During the fan meeting, she shared in-depth stories about the projects and characters she has portrayed throughout her career while creating a festive atmosphere with a variety of performances.
Although Hyeri is currently active as an actress, she showcased the exceptional dance skills and stage presence that made her a beloved idol. She performed various social media challenges and special stages, including a medley of Girl's Day's hit songs such as "Something," "Ring My Bell," "Darling," "Twinkle Twinkle," "Hug Me Once," and "Expectation."

During her performance of "Ring My Bell," however, Hyeri experienced an unexpected mishap when the shoulder strap of her outfit came loose. Though briefly startled, she quickly held her clothing in place to prevent a wardrobe malfunction and continued the performance without interruption, demonstrating her professionalism.
Fellow Girl's Day members Yura and Minah also attended the fan meeting to show their support. Watching their group's youngest member perform on stage, they cheered her on, saying, "Our maknae is doing so well" and "Even after 12 years, Hyeri is still our maknae."

Meanwhile, Hyeri is set to appear in the upcoming ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Dream To You,' scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year. She is also preparing for the release of the film 'Night Fever,' co-starring Woo Do Hwan, Jang Dong Gun, and Park Sung Hoon.
