G.NA is heading back to where it all started.
The singer shared that she is remaking her 2010 debut single 'I'll Back Off So You Can Live Better', the track that carried her to No. 1 on music shows within a month of her debut.
This time the song gets a gentler treatment. "This song is very powerful in my life," G.NA said. "This version is different from the original. It leans toward a ballad centered on guitar and piano." The new arrangement swaps the original's belting intensity for a quieter, more intimate feel.
It is her most concrete musical move since she stepped back from the industry in 2016 and settled in the United States, where she has stayed connected with fans mostly through social media.
A release date has not been set yet, as the remake is still in production.
