Ha Ji Won revisits her college freshman concept 24 years after iconic magazine cover

Actress Ha Ji Won has returned as the cover model for a college magazine 24 years after her first appearance, drawing attention with her remarkably youthful visuals.

On June 1, Ha appeared on the cover of the June issue of 'College Tomorrow,' a magazine aimed at university students. She previously modeled for the magazine's cover in 2002, making this her first cover appearance for the publication in 24 years.

The newly released cover features the phrase "Class of 2026, Department of Hotel and Tourism Management, Kyung Hee University" alongside Ha's bright and refreshing image. Dressed like a college freshman, she perfectly captured the youthful energy associated with new university students.

With her long straight hair and simple styling, Ha evoked the image of a first love, impressing fans with visuals that belie her age of 48.

Last month, Ha reacted to her original 2002 'College Tomorrow' cover on her YouTube channel, 'Ha Ji Won, Class of 2026.' Looking at the old photo, which featured her wearing a tiara, she laughed and admitted, "I don't know why they went with such a princess concept."

When she later received an offer to return as the magazine's cover model, Ha expressed mixed feelings. "I really want to do it, but it feels like I'm taking someone else's spot," she said. "It's supposed to look youthful."

However, once the photoshoot began, Ha quickly put her concerns aside and confidently led the atmosphere on set with her professional posing and experience.

Born in 1978, Ha recently launched her YouTube channel, where she documents her experience as a fictional member of Kyung Hee University's Class of 2026, sharing everything from attending classes to participating in campus club activities.
