Hearts2Hearts fans send protest trucks to SM headquarters, protesting over Carmen being dressed in long pants for beach-themed concept photos

Fans of Hearts2Hearts' Carmen are currently staging a truck protest over her styling this comeback.
Controversy has erupted over Hearts2Hearts' 'Lemon Tang' comeback, as fans of Hearts2Hearts are divided over a surprising topic. On June 16, new concept photos were revealed for the group's upcoming title track 'Lemon Tang.' The photos featured a beach theme, and showed the members posing by the ocean with giant lemon slices.
However, controversy was quickly sparked when fans noticed that Carmen was the only member not wearing shorts in the photos, and was instead styled in long pants and a skirt.
While some fans saw no issue with Carmen's styling, others quickly organized a truck protest over "unfair treatment" , sending multiple protest trucks to SM listing out fan demands. In addition to criticizing Carmen being styled in long pants for the beach, fans also expressed anger over Carmen being more "out-of-focus" than other members in the teaser photos.
One popular fan account summarized the fan criticisms: "Carmen, who is the oldest member and literally an island girl from Bali (Bali Girl), was the only one styled in long pants on a beach. This completely shows the styling team's lack of understanding regarding the artist's background and the actual essence of the photoshoot location. Please re-evaluate your creative team."
Trucks were sent with fan demands and photos of Carmen edited to be wearing shorts at the beach instead of long pants.
"During 'LEMON TANG' promotions, give Carmen equal and fair styling! Provide Carmen with the same equal treatment and opportunities as the other members in all group activities. Give Carmen fair camera time, singing parts, and stage time!"
The protests have sparked division within the fandom, as some netizens believe that the truck protest over Carmen's alleged unfair treatment is "ridiculous" and "an overreaction."
