Han Jae-hee, one half of a 14-year-old hip-hop duo, recently shared his experience of being scouted by multiple entertainment agencies on the June 24 broadcast of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block'. He appeared on the show's 348th episode alongside his duo partner, Han Tae-woo.
The duo gained significant attention after a video of them performing, uploaded on their way home from school, garnered over 20 million views. The clip even received likes from notable artists such as rapper Kim Ha-on, Big Bang's G-Dragon, and beatboxer WING, further amplifying its viral spread overseas.
During the episode, Han Jae-hee candidly mentioned his past attempt on 'Show Me the Money', where he did not advance. However, he also revealed an exciting new collaboration: he participated as a special voice in Kim Ha-on's new album. He explained that Kim Ha-on's agency contacted his mother via direct message to invite him to the project.
Furthermore, Han Jae-hee disclosed that he received casting offers from seven different entertainment agencies, including major players like YG, The Black Label, P NATION, Source Music, and KOZ. Despite attending auditions for all seven companies, he was ultimately not selected. Reflecting on the experience, he expressed a cool attitude, stating, "It was a bit disappointing, but I was happy I could play with my friends," which prompted host Yoo Jae-suk to acknowledge his hip-hop spirit.
