ILLIT to perform at Japan’s FNS Music Festival Summer 2026, teams up with CUTIE STREET for special collaboration stage

ILLIT is set to make consecutive appearances at major music festivals in Japan.

BELIFT LAB announced on June 17 that ILLIT will perform on Fuji TV’s live broadcast of '2026 FNS Music Festival Summer' on July 1.

The FNS Music Festival is a special music program featuring artists who have achieved notable success in the Japanese music market, performing alongside live bands.

This will mark ILLIT’s third appearance on the show. The group was previously invited to the year-end specials in both 2024 and 2025, earning back-to-back invitations.

For this year's event, ILLIT is preparing a special collaboration stage with Japanese girl group CUTIE STREET. The two acts will perform each other’s hit songs, showcasing a unique chemistry and fresh performances.

ILLIT has also been confirmed for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi Wangan Festival (WANGAN)”, which will take place in Tokyo on August 4.

The group will continue its festival run with an appearance at “LuckyFes'26” on August 9 at Hitachi Seaside Park. The outdoor music festival is one of Japan’s major summer events.

These appearances further strengthen ILLIT’s presence in Japan’s live music scene. Last year, the group was invited to prominent events, including 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025' and the 41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection.

Meanwhile, ILLIT will release the digital version of its second Japanese single, “I Got Your Back,” on July 26. The physical album will be released on July 29.
