BY Minsoo-Kim · June 9, 2026

Group izna successfully launched its comeback with a showcase that highlighted the group’s reputation as one of K-pop’s standout visual performers.

On June 8 KST, Mai, Bang Jeemin, Koko, Yoo Sarang, Choi Jungeun, and Jeong Saebi held an online and offline showcase at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul to celebrate the release of their third mini album, ‘SET THE TEMPO.’

The event opened with a performance of the title track "METRONOME," a song built around a sophisticated house rhythm and addictive energy. The members immediately captured attention with their signature “power dreamy” performance style, featuring precise synchronization and the song’s key choreography move, the “Metronome Dance,” inspired by the motion of a metronome.

Introducing the album, Bang Jeemin explained that ‘SET THE TEMPO’ tells a story about creating one’s own rhythm rather than following standards set by others. Choi Jungeun added that while the group’s previous release focused on showing possibilities beyond appearances, the new album aims to convey the message that izna is ready to set its own standards.

The showcase also featured discussions about the fan song "INFINITY," which includes lyric contributions from Yoo Sarang and Bang Jeemin, giving fans a deeper look into the members’ creative involvement.

Beyond the new material, izna energized the crowd with performances of fan-favorite songs "SIGN" and "Mamma Mia," showcasing sharp choreography, confident stage presence, and growing performance maturity.

Expressing gratitude to fans, the members shared that they were nervous but excited to present the new album for the first time. They thanked their fandom, Naya, for their unwavering support and promised to continue working hard throughout the promotion period.

Released on June 8, ‘SET THE TEMPO’ marks another step forward for izna as the group continues to build its identity through powerful performances, strong visuals, and a message of self-confidence and individuality.
