Jessica has addressed and clarified a viral video in which she appeared to gag in front of her fans.
On June 12, a video was uploaded to X (formerly Twitter) showing Jessica, dressed in a black sleeveless top, slowing her pace while walking, bringing her hand to her nose, and appearing to dry heave. The user who posted the video claimed the reaction was caused by a foul odor from the fans, leaving a comment telling them to go wash up.

As the video quickly spread online and drew significant attention, Jessica addressed the situation during a live broadcast on June 13, firmly denying that her reaction was due to a bad smell. She explained the context, noting that a fan at the scene had told her it was their birthday. When she asked for the fan's age and heard they were 21, she was completely taken aback and reacted in exaggerated shock, thinking to herself, "How do they even know me?"
