BY Alec06 · June 19, 2026

Jinusean’s Sean has shared a heartwarming and impressive update from a recent charity marathon he ran alongside his eldest daughter, Ha Eum.

On June 19, Sean took to his personal social media account to post a message along with several photos, writing, "Ran the 10km MIND MARATHON today, serving as Ha Eum's pacemaker."

Reflecting on the race, Sean proudly shared their achievement: "We originally planned to pace ourselves around 41 to 42 minutes. But because Ha Eum was keeping up so well, we pushed the speed a bit more. Even though she struggled a little during the final kilometer, she hung in there beautifully until the very end, finishing at 40 minutes and 37 seconds—taking 2nd place overall in the women's division."

He continued to highlight the philanthropic nature of the event, adding, "The MIND MARATHON was even more meaningful because the entirety of the registration fees was donated to 21 non-profit organizations dedicated to child and adolescent mental health. Ha Eum, let's keep running these meaningful steps for others, step by step, with a grateful heart. Let's go today, too!"

The accompanying photos capture Sean and Ha Eum running side by side, radiating healthy energy and a shared commitment to a good cause. Ha Eum’s remarkable achievement of placing second overall in the women's category left many in awe.

Netizens flocked to the comments, leaving supportive messages such as, "She is amazing, just like her dad," "What does this family lack? They have character, integrity, and raw talent," "She might achieve a sub-3 hour marathon before her dad at this rate," and "The ultimate definition of a 'running gold spoon' (born into a running family)."

Sean married actress Jung Hye Young in 2004, and the couple has two sons and two daughters. Last year, during an appearance on the MBC variety show ‘Omniscient Interfering View’, Sean introduced Ha Eum to the public, revealing that she had previously served as his own pacemaker during his annual National Liberation Day charity event, the "815 Run."
