Ju Kyulkyung shows support for I.O.I at their Hong Kong concert

Ju Kyulkyung, a former member of the project group I.O.I and currently an active actress in China, showed her strong bond with her former groupmates by attending their concert in Hong Kong.

On June 23, Ju Kyulkyung shared several photos on her personal social media account, accompanied by a simple heart emoji. The images captured her visit to I.O.I's Hong Kong concert, part of their ongoing Asia tour.

Instead of elaborate stage attire, Ju Kyulkyung was seen in a comfortable gray hooded jumper, watching her former members from the front row of the audience with an affectionate gaze. Her vibrant visuals, playful expressions, and large accessories caught the eye of many. After the performance, she visited the waiting room, where she was seen interacting warmly with the members, sharing skinship and playful moments.

The I.O.I members responded enthusiastically to Ju Kyulkyung's surprise support. Jeon Somi left a loving comment on Ju Kyulkyung's account, while Choi Yoojung and Im Nayoung also expressed their gratitude and affection for her long journey to support them.

I.O.I, which debuted in 2016, returned to the music scene as a full group in May with a new album, approximately nine years after their initial one-year contract concluded. Although Ju Kyulkyung could not participate in the new album's promotions or the concert stages due to pre-scheduled local commitments, her presence at the overseas concert highlighted the group's enduring 10-year teamwork and special bond that transcends borders.
