LE SSERAFIM takes 1st win for "BOOMPALA" on 'M! Countdown' despite no broadcast

LE SSERAFIM achieved their first music show win with “BOOMPALA” on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown.’

On June 4, Mnet did not air its regular ‘M! Countdown’ live broadcast. Instead, the channel aired a special episode titled ‘M! Countdown X Mega Concert,’ which featured recorded performances from a large-scale concert event rather than the weekly live chart show format. 

Despite the absence of the regular broadcast, the weekly chart results were still announced during the special episode. LE SSERAFIM was revealed as the No. 1 artist of the week, marking the group’s first music show win for their latest title track, “BOOMPALA.”

The ‘M! Countdown X Mega Concert’ was held on May 30 at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon. The event drew approximately 12,000 attendees and featured a star-studded lineup of K-pop artists, delivering high-energy performances from both established and rising acts.

The concert featured performances by EXO, LE SSERAFIM, tripleS, ZEROBASEONE, NCT WISH, MEOVV, KickFlip, Hearts2Hearts, IDID, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, LNGSHOT, hrtz.wav, MODYSSEY, and AND2BLE, highlighting both established and emerging acts within the industry.

With the announcement made during the special broadcast, LE SSERAFIM officially secured their first music show trophy for “BOOMPALA,” marking a significant milestone in the group’s promotions.
