Ma Dong Seok mourns the loss of his father at age 92

Actor Ma Dong Seok is mourning the loss of his father, the late Lee Ki Tae, who passed away on June 2.

The funeral home has been set up at Room 17 of the Samsung Seoul Hospital funeral hall in Gangnam, Seoul, which is part of Samsung Medical Center.

Ma Dong Seok’s agency stated, “We ask for your understanding as we are unable to individually contact everyone due to the sudden circumstances,” adding, “We would be grateful if you could accompany the deceased on his final journey.”

The actor and his wife, Ye Jung Hwa, are listed as chief mourners and are currently staying at the funeral hall to receive visitors and mourners.  

The funeral procession is scheduled to take place at 8:30 a.m. on June 4, and the burial site has been designated as Seoul Memorial Park.

Meanwhile, Ma Dong Seok recently began filming the upcoming movie 'The Roundup 5,' a sequel to his popular 'The Roundup' series, in which he serves not only as the lead actor but also as a writer and producer.
