BY K-Soul · June 8, 2026

NCT's Jeno and Jaemin are set to make their theater debut with their latest drama project.

Distributor TakeOne Company announced on June 8 that the short-form drama ‘Wind Up’ (written by Byun Jae Chul and directed by Kim Sung Ho) will premiere exclusively at CGV theaters on July 2.

The theatrical version will be titled ‘Wind Up: The Movie.’ The story follows the pure friendship between a high school baseball pitcher who can no longer throw strikes and a transfer student who volunteers to become his manager.

The drama was first released in short-form format on June 1 and quickly gained popularity, surpassing 30 million cumulative views. For the theatrical release, the original vertical-format episodes have been re-edited into a widescreen version for cinemas.

A poster released ahead of the premiere features Jeno as high school baseball player Woo Jin and Jaemin as transfer student Tae Hee, teasing a heartfelt youth story about chasing dreams together.

Meanwhile, ‘Wind Up: The Movie’ will be available in CGV theaters beginning July 2.
