ONF turned their comeback week into a small production of its own.
From June 18 to 20, the group rolled out a three-part "special stage" series on their official social channels for their second full-length album Part 2, "ONF: MY SELF," which dropped on June 17. The whole thing was built to feel like a real music-show pre-recording — the same kind of set, but with a different concept for each round.
Day one centered on the title track "Open the Door," with the members leaning into the big vocals and sharp choreography that have long earned them a reputation as a "textbook" K-pop act. On the 19th they split the stage into two rounds, switching outfits in between, and the final round on the 20th was a fancam day — cameras trained on individual members, ending-fairy moments and all.
The behind-the-scenes feel was part of the point. Videos posted right after each recording showed off the camera work and close-ups, giving fans who couldn't be there the same front-row view.
The timing carries extra weight for ONF: this is one of their first big moves since the group moved to their new agency, KI Entertainment, and a chance to reconnect with their fandom, FUSE. "This was a stage we prepared looking only at our fans," the group said. "We're truly grateful to everyone who came, and we were happy to show it. We'll keep working to become an ONF that performs with even more heart."
"ONF: MY SELF" continues the story of their Part 1 album, "MY IDENTITY" — following dreamers on a journey who, by the end, choose for themselves how to live.
