The 'Produce 101 Japan' franchise has officially launched a new boy group.
On June 9, CJ ENM announced, “The final members of the 12-member boy group KO1KEYZ have been confirmed through the live finale broadcast of ‘Produce 101 Japan New World.’”
‘Produce 101 Japan New World’ (hereafter ‘Produce 101 Japan 4’) marks the fourth season of the ‘Produce 101 Japan’ series. This season expanded beyond Japan and was carried out as a global project.
The final lineup consists of 12 members: Kato Daiki, Yada Yoshiki, Goto Yuki, Yanagiya Issa, Ono Keito, Abe Yura, Iizuka Ryoga, Sugiyama Ryuji, Terui Kosuke, and Hamada Towa, among others.
Korean contestants also secured spots in the debut lineup. Former MIRAE member Park Si Young successfully re-debuted after placing third overall. Oh Shin Haeng ranked fourth and also joined KO1KEYZ.
The group is set to debut simultaneously in Korea and Japan this fall. They are also preparing to meet fans through upcoming fan meetings, including events in two Japanese cities in August and September, followed by a Seoul fan meeting in November.
In addition to promotions in Korea and Japan, the group plans to expand globally. KO1KEYZ is also scheduled to appear at KCON LA 2026 this August.
A representative stated, “Please look forward to and support KO1KEYZ as they begin with their simultaneous Korea-Japan debut and continue onto the global stage.”
