RIIZE's second mini-album 'II' has been racking up glowing reviews from major US and UK media since dropping on June 15 — and the sales numbers are matching the hype.
Billboard praised the album for showcasing "RIIZE's freedom and confidence," noting it "maintains its 'emotional pop' identity while traversing diverse sounds." Genius called them "one of K-pop's most dynamic groups," while FOX 13 Seattle highlighted the title track "Do your dance," saying the group "joyfully performs the song and choreography" and that "every track is good enough to be a title track."
V Magazine noted that RIIZE "emphasizes its signature with addictive hooks and dynamic choreography," encouraging listeners to "embrace uncertainty."
UK outlets joined the chorus. CLASH observed that RIIZE is "moving towards the next step, grown from honesty," and DORK said the album's core is self-expression, with "Do your dance" carrying the message that "there's no need to be perfect to enjoy."
On the charts, 'II' became RIIZE's fourth million-seller within just four days. It topped iTunes Top Album Charts in six regions, hit No. 1 on China's Tencent Music K-Pop Chart with 'Platinum' on QQ Music, and claimed the top spot on Japan's AWA Real-time Rising Chart, Recochoku Weekly Album Ranking, and the Hanteo Chart weekly rankings.
