Sana speaks up on suspected 'wardrobe malfunction' at photo wall appearance

Back on June 18 KST, TWICE made a photo wall appearance for the launch of the 'TEAZEN X TWICE Kombucha Lab' collaboration pop-up at Leema Building in Seoul. 

On this day, each of the TWICE members showcased their unique charms wearing an assortment of colorful summer styles. Of the various styles, Sana's outfit in particular garnered attention for its "bold", "swimsuit" look. 

Following the photo wall appearance, various media outlets raised speculations that Sana may have experienced a wardrobe malfunction. The speculations were fueled by the fact that after a brief backstage check and reappearance, Sana's top piece was adjusted to appear more like a dress. 

In response to the buzz surrounding her outfit, Sana personally spoke up about the incident via Bubble, saying,

"See, when I originally fitted for the outfit, it was worn without the top piece tucked in. But when it was time to come out for the appearance, I didn't have a chance to check myself in the mirror so I didn't realize the front was open like that. I only saw it when I came back into the waiting room."

She continued,

"I was already upset that I couldn't wear it the way it was supposed to be from the fitting, and now I'm more upset that there's a lot of buzz. Or am I? idk hehehe."

Meanwhile, many netizens have pointed out that the outfit in question, a piece from the 'BONBOM' 2026 summer collection, can be worn both tucked in and loose, based on model shots as shown below.
