The musical Dream High Season 3: Reboot (hereafter referred to as Dream High Season 3) has officially unveiled its star-studded casting lineup.
On June 1, the production team released its main poster alongside the full cast list via its official social media channels, instantly grabbing the attention of both musical theater enthusiasts and K-Pop fans worldwide.
Reflecting its status as a global project that merges the strengths of K-Pop and musical theater, the casting for Season 3 is more dazzling than ever.
Leading the production in the central role of Song Sam Dong are Se7en, Kang Seung Sik, Lim Se Jun, and Jang Dong Woo, who are set to showcase four distinct interpretations of the character. The role of Jin Guk will be shared by Yeo One and Yoo Young Jae, while U-Kwon and Rocky will take on the role of Jason, promising high-energy performances.
Adding to the drama and immersion of the show, Sunye and Yezi have joined the cast as Baek Hee. Anticipation is high to see how these iconic characters from the Dream High franchise will be reimagined through the fresh energy and interpretations of these stars.
While Dream High Season 3 carries forward the franchise’s signature heartwarming themes of youth, growth, and pursuing dreams, it will also build an entirely original narrative unique to this third season. Notably, the production promises a well-made musical experience featuring newly composed numbers and upgraded, trendy stage production.
To ensure top-tier quality, a dream team of South Korea's leading creators has come together. CEO Kim Eun Ha is leading the general production, while music director Kim Sung Su and hit K-Pop choreographer Choi Young Jun have joined forces to deliver spectacular, genre-defying visuals and sounds.
This season is also preparing to leap beyond the stage to become a massive cultural content phenomenon. Announcing a major collaboration with the creative team at Universal Music, Dream High Season 3 is currently in close discussions for a special Korea-Japan concert project, marking its official expansion into the broader Asian market.
With partnerships locked in with Japanese corporations, as well as joint projects with the Korea Tourism Organization—such as 'HiKR Ground' and a global roadshow—the production aims to further expand the global footprint of K-content.
Dream High Season 3: Reboot will kick off its run at the COEX Artium Woori Bank Hall from July 18 to September 27.
