Song Joong Ki makes surprise appearance to support longtime friend Jin Sun Kyu

Actor Jin Sun Kyu received heartfelt support from his celebrity friends ahead of the release of Netflix’s upcoming action-comedy film "Husbands in Action".

On June 16, Jin Sun Kyu shared photos on social media from a special screening event attended by fellow actors Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, and Lim YoonA. The stars posed together with warm smiles, highlighting their long-standing friendship.

The appearance of Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri particularly caught fans’ attention. The trio previously worked together in the 2021 Netflix sci-fi blockbuster "Space Sweepers", and their reunion showcased the strong bond they have maintained over the years.

Song Joong Ki, who recently embraced fatherhood, kept a low profile in a cap while attending the screening to cheer on his longtime colleague. Kim Tae Ri and Lim YoonA also joined the event, showing their support for Jin Sun Kyu’s latest project.

Set to premiere on Netflix on June 19, "Husbands in Action" follows the unpredictable rescue mission of an ex-husband and a current husband who reluctantly join forces after the woman they both love is kidnapped by a criminal organization.

Directed by Park Gyu Tae, known for the hit comedy “6/45”, the film promises a blend of action, humor, and unexpected chemistry. Jin Sun Kyu stars as Chung Sik, an elite narcotics detective and the woman’s ex-husband, while Gong Myoung plays Min Seok, a handsome veterinarian who becomes his unlikely partner.

With strong word-of-mouth and support from fellow stars, "Husbands in Action" is already building anticipation ahead of its Netflix debut.
