Taeyeon delights viewers after dressing up as Maggie Simpson for a punishment on 'Amazing Saturday'

Taeyeon drew attention for her adorable transformation after appearing in a The Simpsons-themed punishment costume on the June 13 episode of tvN’s variety show 'Amazing Saturday.'

The episode featured a special “My Partner, My Husband” concept, where cast members and guests dressed up according to a husband-themed idea. However, Kim Dong Hyun, P.O. (Pyo Ji Hoon), Nucksal, and Taeyeon were assigned a penalty after losing a previous game, requiring them to appear in costumes inspired by the animated series 'The Simpsons.'

Each participant portrayed a different member of the Simpson family. Kim Dong Hyun dressed as Homer Simpson, P.O took on the role of Marge Simpson, Nucksal appeared as Bart Simpson, and Taeyeon was styled as Maggie Simpson, the youngest character of the family known for her baby blue outfit and pacifier.

Although the outfits were intended as a punishment, Taeyeon’s appearance stood out for its unexpected cuteness. Kim Dong Hyun commented that she looked too adorable for it to feel like a penalty, praising her visual transformation during the broadcast.

During the episode, the cast also played along with the family concept. Kim Dong Hyun jokingly said, “Danwoo, save money,” while Nucksal added similar humorous remarks. Taeyeon joined in by referring to her pet dog Zero and saying, “Zero, I will go earn money,” which added a playful and warm tone to the scene.
