Group TREASURE has made a powerful comeback, topping major music charts in Japan with its latest release.

According to YG Entertainment on June 10 KST, TREASURE’s fourth mini album ‘NEW WAV’ debuted at No. 1 on both the Oricon Weekly Album Chart and Billboard Japan’s Top Albums Sales Chart, demonstrating the group’s strong popularity in the Japanese market.

Based on sales data collected from June 1 to June 7, ‘NEW WAV’ entered the Oricon Weekly Album Chart directly at No. 1. The album also claimed the top spot on Billboard Japan’s weekly album sales ranking.

The achievement is particularly notable as the album reportedly sold more copies than the combined sales of the releases ranked from No. 2 through No. 5 on Billboard Japan’s chart during the same tracking period, highlighting TREASURE’s overwhelming commercial power.

The group’s success extends beyond Japan. In South Korea, ‘NEW WAV’ recorded 1,025,601 copies sold on the weekly Hanteo Chart, making TREASURE a double consecutive million-seller in first-week album sales.

With strong chart performance both domestically and internationally, TREASURE has once again reinforced its position as one of K-pop’s leading global boy groups.

The group will continue its comeback promotions with ‘TREASURE THE STAGE 2026 NEW WAV : LIVE IN SEOUL,’ a three-day concert series scheduled to take place from June 19 to 21 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium, where they will meet fans and celebrate the success of their latest release.
