Girl group tripleS has set a new personal record with their recent comeback album.
On June 1, tripleS released their new mini-album, ‘LOVE&POP pt.1.’ According to the Hanteo chart, the album recorded 576,xxx album sales in its first week of release, setting a new impressive record for the group.
With this milestone, 'LOVE&POP pt.1' has officially become the group’s highest-selling album in first-week sales. Remarkably, it surpassed record held by their second full-length album 'ASSEMBLE25' at 516,000 copies.
tripleS’ seventh mini-album features seven new songs: “Sad Girls Schemin’,” “Peer,” “Baby Flower” (the title track), “Type of Girl,” “Sleek,” “I Like That,” and “Me Myself Mode.” The mini-album is part of the 24-member group’s ‘ASSEMBLE26’ project, which is the first part of their three-part album series. It conveys a message of solidarity and comfort, blooming like flowers, and showcases a brighter side of tripleS as they return as a complete group.
Congratulations to tripleS!
