BY Sofia-Sayson · June 1, 2026

TWICE's Dahyun spent a meaningful birthday by donating to help leukemia patients.

On June 1 KST, JYP Entertainment shared, "To commemorate her birthday on the 28 of last month, Dahyun donated 30 million KRW (~19,825 USD) to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea."

This donation will be used for leukemia patients in the Ulsan area. It will be used for medical expenses, among other things, for those who are burdened with treatment due to financial difficulties.

Dahyun shared, “I wanted to share the love that I have received. I hope my heart can be a small source of strength and comfort to those receiving treatment.”

The artist has been making meaningful donations throughout her career. In the past, she donated 50 million KRW (~33,043 USD) to the COVID-19 special fundraising. At the time of the earthquake in Turkey, she generously donated 200 million won alongside her members. She also donated 50 million KRW to support Ulsan wildfire relief.

Meanwhile, TWICE is currently on their world tour ‘THIS IS FOR,’ which will then conclude in Seoul in July.
