USPEER is ramping up anticipation for its comeback with a series of promotional releases for the title track 'Wicked Game', including a cinematic music video trailer and mood boards.
The six-member group unveiled the music video poster and trailer for 'Wicked Game', the title track from its first mini album 'Bite District', on June 11 and 12 through its official social media channels. The teasers immediately drew attention for their cinematic fantasy atmosphere, resembling a film preview more than a conventional music video teaser.
The trailer hinted at a fantasy-inspired narrative, with the members displaying playful and mischievous expressions that further heightened anticipation for the full music video.
USPEER continued the promotional rollout on June 13 and at midnight on June 14, releasing two versions of the 'Wicked Game' music video mood board titled 'Veiled' and 'Unveiled'.
The 'Veiled' version expands on the fantasy aesthetic established in the trailer, presenting the members in collage-style imagery against dramatic backdrops and symbolic objects featured in the music video. In contrast, the 'Unveiled' version captures the members in more realistic settings, highlighting a different side of their personalities. Together, the two versions showcase contrasting charms while raising expectations for a significant transformation in USPEER's concept and musical direction.
The comeback marks USPEER's first release in nearly a year since its 2025 single 'Speed Zone'. The four-track mini album 'Bite District' is described as a project that reflects the group's journey of building its own world while embarking on a new musical chapter.
Following a series of promotional releases, including coming-soon videos, trailers, and mood boards, USPEER's first mini album 'Bite District' will be released on June 17 at 6 PM KST.
