Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together has kicked off the visual rollout for his upcoming second mini album, 'NO LABELS: PART 02', with the release of 'THEME 2' concept photos and a video.
bntnews reported on June 24, Yeonjun released the first set of visuals, 'THEME 2', on the group's official social media at midnight KST. This theme draws inspiration from the title track 'Ice Cream', highlighting the exhilarating pain of eating cold ice cream too quickly.
The released photos capture Yeonjun's contrasting charms, showing him gazing blankly or smiling brightly, exuding an unadorned and natural vibe. The accompanying video further emphasizes his honest appeal, featuring him smiling at the camera while holding an ice cream stick, showing a strong presence without elaborate direction.
The title track, 'Ice Cream', metaphorically compares a cool relationship with boundaries to ice cream, which melts if too hot and causes a headache if consumed too fast. The song is built on a funk-rock sound, incorporating vintage drums, an addictive bassline, and guitar riffs, positioning it as a potential summer hit from Yeonjun.
The album's visual concept aims to show Yeonjun as a solo artist whose essence cannot be defined by a single adjective. Following 'THEME 2', 'THEME 1' is scheduled for release on June 26, and 'THEME 3' on June 28. The full mini album 'NO LABELS: PART 02' will be released on July 10 at 1 PM KST, featuring a total of six tracks including 'Ice Cream', 'Vanilla', 'Baby Wassup?', 'No More Disco', 'Fxxking Star', and 'Long Way Long Ride'. Yeonjun notably participated in writing the lyrics for 'Baby Wassup?' and 'Long Way Long Ride', infusing his unique musical color into the album.
