DAY6's Young K announces solo comeback with second full-length album 'YOUNGEST' set for July 27

DAY6's Young K is making his return as a solo artist.

On July 6, JYP Entertainment announced Young K's comeback through its official social media channels. The singer will release his second full-length solo album, 'YOUNGEST,' on July 27.

Alongside the announcement, the agency unveiled a teaser image featuring fragments of shattered glass reflecting parts of Young K's face. A key engraved with the letters "YK" further heightened anticipation for the upcoming release.

'YOUNGEST' marks Young K's first solo full-length album in approximately 2 years and 10 months, following the release of his debut studio album, 'Letters with Notes,' in September 2023.

The new album is expected to further showcase Young K's distinctive musical identity. Since his debut, he has consistently participated in songwriting and composing, helping create numerous beloved hits, including DAY6's iconic track "You Were Beautiful."

Meanwhile, Young K recently wrapped up the finale of DAY6's 10th anniversary tour, 'The DECADE,' and is also appearing on ENA's variety program 'The Scout.'
