EXO's Suho drew laughs from fans and fellow guests as he looked back on his confident school days, including his old internet nicknames.
On the July 1 episode of the YouTube channel 'okiki,' Suho appeared alongside actress Ji Ye Eun. When the talk turned to past internet IDs, he said his first was "Yoonjoongganjiwal," which he explained meant "The swag of Yoonjoong speaks" — a nod to the Yoonjoong Elementary and Middle Schools he attended while living in Yeouido.
It didn't end there. Suho said that after his family moved to the affluent Daechi-dong neighborhood in Gangnam, he changed his ID to "Daechi-dong Ganpan," meaning 'The Face of Daechi-dong.' The reveal drew big laughs, and host Gabee joked, "He knew he was handsome way back then."
His confidence had backing. When childhood photos showed the same features he has today, he simply nodded when asked if he was an 'ulzzang' (a good-looking person). He also looked back on his Cyworld-era popularity: "During school festivals, if I went out to have fun, my 'Today' [daily visitor count] would shoot up."
The stories add to Suho's well-known 'elite' background. He has previously drawn attention for his affluent family; his father, Kim Yong Ha, is an economics professor at Soonchunhyang University.
