MBC M is set to launch a new K-pop variety program, 'Idol Training Camp', featuring 24 members from four boy groups, with its first episode scheduled to air on July 8, 2026.
On July 1, the show will bring together all 24 members from CLOSE YOUR EYES, AHOF, idntt, and FLARE U for a unique training camp experience. The program promises to showcase their diverse charms beyond the stage, highlighting their individual personalities, group chemistry, competitive spirit, and entertaining antics.
Veteran broadcaster Boom and entertainer Jonathan will join the show as instructors, adding to the anticipation for their dynamic chemistry with the 24 idols. Teasers reveal the members arriving at the training center, participating in an entrance ceremony, and performing a dance challenge.
During the dance challenge, Jang Yeo Jun (CLOSE YOUR EYES), Cha Woong Ki (AHOF), and Kim Do Hoon (idntt) reportedly engaged in an impromptu dance battle, energizing the atmosphere. The show will also feature a thrilling deduction game to find a 'Monandol' (spy) among the members, leading to intense psychological warfare and unexpected betrayals.
The highlight of the training camp will be a talent show, where members will present a variety of performances, including rap, dance, song covers, skits, and original dances. Some members even stated they practiced harder for 'Idol Training Camp' than for their comeback stages, raising expectations for the main broadcast. Following its premiere on July 8 at 7 PM KST, extended versions with unreleased scenes will be sequentially available through the MBC 'Muniverse' app and web.
