Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon tries to 'ride the trend' with RESCENE's Woni and Minami in a hilarious gyaru challenge

Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon teamed up with RESCENE's Woni and Minami for a "gyaru" makeup challenge on her personal YouTube channel.

In the July 1 episode of 'Hyoyeon's Level Up,' Hyoyeon showed off a full gyaru look. "I felt like my popularity was cooling down a bit, so I had a sense of crisis," she said. "This makeup is the trend right now, so I tried it."

She was candid about why she invited the rookies. "Lately, Woni has taken over my feed," she said. "I worked hard to earn my 'trendy' title... I figured if I filmed with Woni a lot, our views would go up too."

Woni and Minami said they were glad to meet Hyoyeon. Woni said she was a big fan, and Minami added, "I always wanted to meet you. I couldn't believe we were meeting here."

The trio then took on the viral "Geoje Yaho" shout. Minami demonstrated first, and Hyoyeon's first try fell flat. She then belted out a powerful "Yaho!" using deep abdominal breathing.
