Actor Park Soo Oh is set to join the cast of KBS2's new weekend drama, 'Love is Coming', where he will take on the role of a high school student named Han Gyu Seo.
Park Soo Oh's character, Han Gyu Seo, is described as the lovable youngest son of the Han family and a "face genius" whose looks turn heads. He has a bright and cheerful personality, making him an incredibly popular student who easily befriends everyone.
The character is also expected to show a deep bond with his twin sister, Han Gyu Min (played by Kim Min Seo), whom he quietly and steadfastly supports. However, beneath his sunny exterior, Han Gyu Seo is a complex individual nursing deep-seated worries and emotional scars that he cannot share with others, setting up a multi-layered performance.
This role marks a dramatic transformation for Park Soo Oh, who previously left a strong impression on viewers with his chilling portrayal of the villainous bully Han Ki Tae in the Netflix original series 'Girigo'. His shift to a wholesome and energetic character has drawn attention.
'Love is Coming' is a family drama about two people piecing together their scarred families to build a warm life. The first episode is scheduled to air on Saturday, July 25, at 8 PM KST.
