Three months after getting married, actor Ok Taecyeon is making a surprise return to television with a special appearance in SBS's hit Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated.' The actor, who recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend of 10 years at Seoul's Shilla Hotel, will reunite with viewers through a cameo role in one of this summer's biggest K-drama hits.
Premiering on June 26, 'Agent Kim Reactivated' follows the story of an ordinary father who transforms into the world's most dangerous man in a desperate quest to rescue his only daughter. The revenge action drama has quickly become a breakout success.
Just two episodes into its run, the series recorded a peak nationwide rating of 18.1%, while its coveted 2049 demographic rating climbed to 7.17%, making it the No. 1 program across all channels and genres for the week.

The drama has also dominated buzz rankings. According to Good Data Corporation's Fundex rankings for the fourth week of June, lead actor So Ji Sub topped the integrated TV and OTT drama actor buzz chart during the show's premiere week, while Chief Kim ranked No. 1 among TV dramas in overall buzz.
Amid the drama's growing popularity, Ok Taecyeon has been confirmed for a special appearance as Park Young Gwang. He will share intense action sequences with So Ji Sub's character, serving as a key ally in the story.
The two actors are also agency labelmates under 51K, making their on-screen collaboration even more notable.
Newly released stills show Ok Taecyeon holding a combat knife during military training, exuding a fierce presence. Dressed in black military gear and carrying a rifle, he showcases disciplined movements and commanding charisma, hinting at his role as a highly trained operative.
Production staff said the actor fully immersed himself in demanding training and combat scenes, using his athletic physique and energy to heighten the realism. Although his screen time is limited, viewers can expect a memorable performance and strong bromance chemistry with So Ji Sub.

Explaining why he accepted the cameo, Ok Taecyeon said, "I was so excited to have the opportunity to act alongside senior actor So Ji Sub. I didn't hesitate to say yes."
He also praised the filming atmosphere. He shared, "I remember the set being incredibly warm and welcoming. Everyone was so considerate, and I had a great time filming." The actor added, "I was truly happy to be part of Chief Kim. I hope viewers will also enjoy the many different charms the drama has to offer."
The production team echoed the excitement, saying, "Ok Taecyeon's special appearance will bring unexpected tension and entertainment to Chief Kim. Please look forward to the meaningful impact his character will have on the story."
His cameo will air in Episode 3, which premieres on July 3 at 9:50 PM KST on SBS.
The cameo also marks Ok Taecyeon's first official acting activity since his marriage.
On April 24, he married his longtime girlfriend of 10 years during a private ceremony held at The Shilla Seoul in central Seoul. The wedding was attended only by family members and close friends.
His fellow 2PM members reunited for the occasion, performing a congratulatory song, while member Hwang Chan Sung served as the wedding host. Ok Taecyeon became the second married member of 2PM after Hwang Chan Sung.
The couple first went public with their relationship in 2020. At the time of announcing his marriage, Ok Taecyeon shared, "I promised to spend my life with someone who has understood and trusted me for a long time. We will become each other's greatest source of strength as we walk through life together."
Since debuting with 2PM in 2008, Ok Taecyeon has built a successful acting career through dramas including 'Cinderella's Sister,' 'Dream High,' 'Vincenzo,' and 'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy.' Now, just three months after his wedding, fans are eager to see what kind of impact he will make with his special appearance in 'Agent Kim Reactivated.'
