Before June ended, Jay Chang met the members of the press and his fans across four events: a press conference and three mall shows in Manila, Philippines.
Aside from talking about his journey as an artist at the press conference, Jay finally showcased the live vocals that his fans had previously only watched through a screen. He performed his singles, including “HIGHER” and “LaSalle Ave,” alongside a surprise cover of Dionela’s “Marilag”—demonstrating his vocal versatility even when singing in the Filipino language.
The mall show tour marked Jay’s first official visit to the Philippines as an artist following his solo debut and participation in the popular survival program ‘Boys Planet.’
Jay launched his solo career with the single “Is You” in 2020, followed by his mini-albums ‘Late Night’ and ‘Neighborhood,’ released in 2023 and 2024, respectively. While navigating his solo career, Jay is also a member of the boy group ONE PACT and a former member of B.D.U, a project vocal group formed through the reality program ‘Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival.’
