Former Gugudan’s Mimi releases “Pop Pink Apple” MV

Former Gugudan member Mimi unveiled the music video for her latest track “Pop Pink Apple” on April 25.

The newly unveiled MV presents Mimi in a black and white setting, creating a calm yet intriguing atmosphere. In the video, she is seen handling apples while preparing a meal and writing a letter. The repeated appearance of apples throughout the scenes adds a symbolic element, enhancing the visual storytelling and leaving a lasting impression.

Mimi has continued to explore her own artistic direction since her group activities, gradually building her identity as a solo artist. With “Pop Pink Apple,” she showcases a more refined and expressive style through both music and visuals.

Meanwhile, Mimi also gained public attention for her personal life. She married (Park Sang Hyun) Thunder, a former member of MBLAQ, in May last year. Thunder, who debuted in 2009, has since expanded his career as a solo artist and actor.
